After graduating from his university, Dhamin worked as a full-time artist and began his artistic career by experimenting with different methods. He was still stirred by the motion of the living organism, evoked by light and its changes, which he sees as combining the two in his works. It is worth mentioning that landscape took a large part in his works, Dhamin has always found a unique appreciation of the geological and environmental changes in the world around him, mostly because of his transition from one country to another and from one place to another. This was very evident in his personal exhibition Nature Dialogue 2012. Dhamin always seeks versatility in his art. Currently, his experience revolves constructing the natural scene in his own vision while incorporating calligraphy and lines that elevate the scene from its more traditional state to another more serene one. This unique style of work has become Dhamin’s signature at present. Having survived war and conflict in his Native Iraq, while overcoming insurmountable challenges, Dhamin has striven to capture appreciation and optimism in the art that his talent brings to life - all while managing to still remind his audience how to always treasure the world around them. |
